Morocco, Day 5 - Kasbahs, Roses, Movie Sets and Aït Benhaddou

The grand finale of the day was arriving at the legendary Aït Benhaddou.

This UNESCO World Heritage ksar is even more impressive in person than in photos. As we climbed higher into the ancient fortified village, the craftsmanship became more and more remarkable. Built from earthen clay and straw, the structures seem to rise organically from the hillside itself, glowing in a haze as the sun tried to break through the clouds, giving an almost foggy effect reminiscent of home. The higher we climbed, the more spectacular the views became across the valley below.

Morocco, Day 3 - Fes to the Sahara Desert.

The journey from Fes to the edge of the Sahara felt less like a drive and more like a slow unfolding of landscapes—each one more unexpected than the last. We had one more delicious breakfast at Riad Dar Bensouda and set off early, leaving behind the maze of the medina with the help of the hotel porter (check out the video and see how lost we would have been without him!) and climbing into the cool air of the Middle Atlas Mountains. Our first stop was Ifrane, a place so surprising it hardly felt like Morocco at all. With its alpine architecture, and crisp mountain air, it resembled a European ski town.

Morocco, Day 2: A day exploring Fes With Noureddine & Youssef.

With our guide Nourreddine leading the way, our day unfolded like a carefully composed photograph—each stop a new frame, rich with texture, light, and history.

Jessica + Corey are Married! St. john’s, NL, Wedding

Jessica and Corey were married a few weeks ago and what a beautiful day we had! Jessica wore a beautiful gown from Ever After Bridal Boutique, and her bridesmaids were in dresses from Azazie! The groom and groomsmen wore sharp looking light suits from Moores, and all the flowers were from All Events Floral. The Ceremony was at the Knights of Columbus, and was decorated by Fairytales Wedding Decorating - it looked great! We then went to George Street for some group photos and then up to Signal Hill for some more photos of the group and just the bride and the group on Signal hill overlooking the harbour!

We went back to the Knights of Columbus for a delicious meal (it was soo good!), and the reception. It was a beautiful night! Thanks for having me be a part of your big day Jessica and Corey!
